Clarence Bull was a Hollywood portrait photographer who worked for MGM for nearly 40 years. There is not a lot of information on him available on-line but here are several of examples of his work. The top two are Grace Kelly, the third is Greta Garbo, and the last is soprano Kathryn Grayson.
